If you run into any technical issues accessing the online test, desk side support can be reached at [email protected] or at 1-800-238-0377 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Oliver’s Digital LockTM

You will be required to download Oliver’s Digital Lock. This is an application to ensure the integrity of the exams by restricting other computers from being able to access your computer and your computer being able to access other websites while doing your exam. During the entire exam, your communications will be restricted to our exam servers.

Please enter the exam, then click on the video camera icon on the top right corner of the browser window.

An info box will pop-up. Within the info box, click the “Manage” button on the bottom left.

You will be directed to a screen that will list options for you to select as the camera. Select a camera that is facing you.

Georgian College FAQ

Test results are provided to students by email from Georgian College after five business days of completing the test.

OMVIC Certification Course Students

Successful completion of this course does not mean you are registered as a salesperson or dealer with OMVIC. Individuals must submit an application to OMVIC in order to apply to become a registered salesperson or dealer. Please visit OMVIC’s website for more information: www.omvic.on.ca.

MVDA Key Elements Course Students

Professional Designation - Registered dealers and salespersons that successfully pass the MVDA Key Elements Course and maintain registration with OMVIC are entitled to use the designation C.A.L.E.-Certified in Automotive Law and Ethics.” Using the C.A.L.E. designation builds trust, strengthens credibility and demonstrates to consumers that dealers and salespeople are proven professionals who have met OMVIC and Georgian College training standards.

If students were unsuccessful in passing and wish to take the test again, they will have to re-register and pay the course fee again.
